| I originally trained as a teacher working in both
Secondary and Primary schools in Essex, if the ACCA ever
introduce a paper requiring the creative use of eggshell
boxes and poster paint then I'm the man. |
 |
After a brief stint actually working as an accountant I
joined the ACCA, working in their Education department for
two years. This meant working with Examiners setting papers
and teams marking them so I've picked up lots of useful
tips.
I started lecturing in 1997 and am now unemployable as
anything else (I'd hate to have to get a desk job). I get a
great deal of satisfaction from helping people to achieve a
qualification that will open many career doors for them (and
hearing the sound of my own voice).
In my spare time I enjoy reading and classical music. I also
go running, which I don't enjoy at all.
