Overseas students’ progress is tightly controlled by the UK
Border Agency. This means that if you attend your classes
irregularly, you will be reported to the Home Office. All
absences must be accounted for. Follow these simple rules
and you will make the most of your stay in London:
- Attend your classes every day (if you are absent, report
to the reception and provide the reason for your absence)
- Be punctual (see the timetable) – if you
are late, you disrupt the lesson, disturb both the teacher
and your classmates.
- Do your homework – it is set every day and checked
regularly. It will help you to consolidate the things you
have already learnt.
- Do not hesitate to approach your Teacher for help. They
are more than willing to assist you. Familiarise yourself
with Director of Studies Office Hours. If you have any
queries or complaints, do not hesitate to contact her.
- Use the Library, ask you Teacher or Librarian for
help/recommendation.
- You may skip one test each term, except the final test,
which you must take. If, for any reason, you cannot take any
of the scheduled exams, inform your Teacher. Generally, no
additional dates can be arranged.
