Entry Requirements
In order to satisfy the
entrance requirements for the BSc Banking
and Finance, applicants must be at least
17 years of age at the time of registration
and must demonstrate that you have reached
a level of competence in Mathematics at
least equivalent to a pass at GCSE/GCE O
Level, at not less than grade C, in a mathematical
subject. Applicants should also hold passes
in either:
-
two subjects at GCEA
Level + at least three further subjects
at GCSE or GCE O Level (at not less
than grade C or a pass if taken prior
to 1975) or
-
three subjects at GCE
A Level + one further subject at GCSE
or GCE O Level (at not less than grade
C) or
-
two subjects at GCE
A Level + two further subjects at AS
Level.
Note: Applicants with other qualifications
not listed above and/or suitable work
experience will be considered by the
University on an individual basis. There
are many other acceptable qualifications,
both from the UK and overseas, which
the University accepts instead of British
O and A Levels.
How to Apply:
While you apply to WECL for full-time course,
simultaneously complete an online application
form for the University of London External programme
by clicking
http://www.londonexternal.ac.uk/how_to_apply/apply_online.shtml
or alternatively send it to the University directly
with the required documentary evidence, application
handling fee and fee slip. You may apply to
the University of London at any time of the
year from 1 January to 17 September (if you
live outside the European Union) and up to 17
October (if you live inside the EU). The earlier
in the year that you apply, the sooner the University
of London will be able to process your application
and give you a decision about your eligibility.
University will acknowledge your application
and will send you confirmation. .Same time we
will send you an offer letter and you may register
and begin studying.
If you are not eligible we will tell you what
to do to become eligible.
When to Apply:
You can submit your application at any time
of the year in University of London. However,
if you intend to take your first examination(s)
next year, you are strongly advised to apply
as early as possible

Duration: Lasts between three and eight
years (minimum two years on the Graduate Entry
Route)

is entirely separate from enrolment on WECL
courses. Students must seek and obtain certificates
of eligibility from the University of London
before applying at WECL and pay their UOL fees
for admission, exemption, registration,examination
and continuing registration directly to the
University.

this course to undertake tuition at the College,
the fees paid will not be refunded except in
the event of student visa refusal.
